Anti Gas Channeling Powder
Our anti gas migration additive FC-AG03S stops gas channeling inside setting cement to guarantee stable oil well cementing work, paired with matched defoamers for reliable foam suppression.
This powder is also known as condensed silica fume or microsilica. It forms as a byproduct of ferrosilicon & metal silicon smelting: high-temperature electric furnaces release volatile SiO₂ and Si gas, which oxidizes, condenses and precipitates into fine powder. Special dust collection and sealing gear is required for its recovery due to ultra-light particle weight.
Application Scope
In oilfield cementing jobs, FC-AG03S anti gas channeling powder mixes into cement slurry to suppress gas and water channeling issues. It accelerates static gel formation, stabilizes slurry performance and boosts final set cement compressive strength.
